Easy to lay as a floor membrane, over damp concrete, slabs, slates or well compacted earth. Simply roll out and join with the self amalgamating, double sided Joint Tape. Press the two sheet edges together with an overlap of 3 - 4 stud rows (about 75mm), stud side down. You can lay a concrete floor or screed directly on top, or fit a 'floating' floor of tongued and grooved chipboard. As a wall membrane the sheets are hung from the top, using the black hammer in plugs, which have a hole in the middle ready to take a number 12 self tapping screw. Each plug is fitted with a waterproof seal washer. Battens are then screwed to the plug heads. Usage rate - a roll, 2 metres wide x 20 metres long will cover about 36 square metres, allowing 10% for the overlapping joints. Allow 4 plugs per square metre. Data Sheet - click here.

As a wall membrane only, the sheets are hung from the top, using the white hammer in plugs, which have a rough top surface to take plaster. Each plug is fitted with a waterproof seal made from a roll of mastic rope, or by using the special mastic sealant. The Mesh surface can be either directly plastered with Bonding or covered with Plasterboard on dabs of adhesive. Plastering can be carried out using Carlite Bonding Plaster. Usage rate - a roll, 2 metres wide x 10 metres long will cover about 18 square metres, allowing 10% for the overlapping joints. The black plugs are 11mm in diameter and 73mm long. They require a 10mm masonry bit. Rubber seals need to be fitted, cone face outwards. The 10mm diameter holes should be drilled at least 85mm deep, to allow for drill dust, so that the seal is pushed into the dimple properly. Usage rate - 4 plugs per square metre, 600mm maximum spacing allow battens, battens spaced to suit the plasterboard chosen.
